ISSUE N.01 (OCT/NOV 2020): Security

In consideration of and in response to the global health crisis, novel facets of the concept of security in international relations have emerged and have been rediscovered in 2020.

The first ever issue of TNGO is a collection of selected articles, analyses, and interviews published by the think tank in the period October-November 2020, encompassing challenges of human security – such as the uninterrupted migratory flows in the Mediterranean Sea – as well as issues of cyber- and data security, health security, geopolitical and resource security.

ISSUE N.02 (FEB/APR 2021): Rise of Illiberal Democracy

With the COVID-19 pandemic challenging polities through an economic recession and growing political tensions, the spread and rise of illiberal democracy have continued throughout the first half of 2021.

The second-ever issue of TNGO is a collection of selected articles and analyses published by the think tank in the period February-April 2021, encompassing political trajectories of democracies worldwide in the struggle between the pitfalls endangering civil and political liberties and widespread reactions from civil society.
